When to use Multisite?
Management tips
**1. User management** - Use roles strictly (Super Admin, Site Admin, etc.) - Enable two-factor authentication for Super Admins - Limit the number of Super Admins to a minimum
**2. Plugin policy** - Choose which plugins are network-active - Only allow per-site activation for reliable plugins - Always test plugins on a test site
**3. Theme policy** - Install themes network-wide - Activate per site if needed - Use child themes for customisations
**4. Updates** - Updates apply to the entire network - Test on a test site before updating network-wide - Make a backup of ALL sites beforehand
**5. Performance** - One slow site can slow down the entire network - Use object caching (Redis/Memcached) - Monitor resource usage per site

- Limit registration (only by admins) - Use SSL for the entire network - Monitor suspicious activity per site - Keep an audit log of admin actions
